A 47-YEAR-OLD man was found dead in the sea near East Burra on Monday.
Jonathan Scott Williamson’s body was discovered by police, assisted by Shetland Coastguard.
Mr Williamson had been reported missing in the early hours of Sunday morning after leaving his Bridge End home.
A police spokesman said there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances regarding the death.
A report is to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
