A MAN appeared in private from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday on a petition alleging an indecent assault on a 15-year-old girl.
James Taylor, 39, with an address in Sandveien, Lerwick, made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. He was released on bail.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
