A MAN who denied driving a car while unfit through drink or drugs will go to trial next month.
Peter John Henderson, 27, of Kalliness, Weisdale, appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to the offence, alleged to have taken place at Morrison Dock in Lerwick the previous day.
Sheriff James Hendry took the unusual step of telling Mr Henderson not to drive until his trial, except for going to and from his work at Sullom Voe.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
