THE CLAN 1,2,3 appeal for a new cancer centre in Aberdeen now stands at £121,023, thanks to another busy week of fundraising.
The Mr and Mrs night at the Town Hall last weekend raised more than £600 and the CLAN charity shop in the Toll Clock Shopping Centre took £1,500 this week.
Events to look forward to include a Search and Rescue open afternoon at Sumburgh next Sunday and a carol concert at the Town Hall on the 21st.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
