Rosemount high on [Robbie Ramsay’s] Baa

The Peterhead-registered fishing boat Rosemount ran aground at the north entrance to Lerwick harbour on Friday.

Both the lifeboat and the pilot boat the Knab attended the area close to the Rova head light after the Rosemount’s crew reported hitting rocks at around 3pm.

She was pulled free by the lifeboat at 6pm before a full inspection of the vessel was carried out by divers.

The boat was found to have dents and scratches, however there was no damage to the seams or welds.

She lay alongside in Lerwick Harbour before continuing her journey on Saturday.

There were no injuries on board the vessel as a result of the incident.
