Carter play at Garrison

Company Chordelia’s new production, Les Amoureux, visits the Garrison Theatre in Lerwick next month as part of a Scottish tour.

The play is based around Angela Carter’s The Lady of The House of Love, a story of love, life and death with a strong eastern European quality.

Combining dance and physical theatre with opera, voice and design, Les Amoureux creates a world where time stops and never ends, expressed through physical grace, explosive movement, whispers, discord, and soaring singing.
