Quieter markets

Poor weather at the weekend meant quiet times at the fishmarkets this week.

Fishing boats only went out on Monday night because of the bad conditions, so fishing only started in earnest on Tuesday.

A spokesman for fish agents LHD said things had stayed quiet throughout the middle of the week as well.

Things are not expected to pick up next week as business slows down for the Easter weekend.
