Trouting festival
The ever popular Brown Trout Festival takes place next week.
The event includes evening competitions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and ends with a full day on Saturday, 16th May, with prizes each day for the heaviest fish and the heaviest basket.
Competitors can start fishing either from the Burns Lane clubrooms or the Laxo ferry terminal.
The festival will be rounded off with a prize-giving and social evening in the clubrooms on the Saturday night.
