Police hunt thief who took quad bike for New Year joy ride

Police are carrying out investigations after a quad bike was stolen from a farm in Dunrossness overnight on New Year’s Eve.

The bike was taken from a farm building in Scousburgh, driven on the A970 to Levenwick and other local minor roads, and later found abandoned in the Scousburgh area.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Lerwick Police Station on (01595) 692110.
