Ferry services disrupted with high winds forecast

NorthLink has cancelled the 7pm sailing of the Hrossey from Aberdeen on Tuesday night because of a forecast of strong to gale-force northerly winds. The sailing of the freight boat Clare has also been cancelled.

The southbound sailing of the Hjaltland from Lerwick to Aberdeen is expected to depart for Aberdeen at 11.30pm, arriving in Aberdeen at 2pm on Wednesday, however this is currently under review. If she does sail and the winds prevent her from entering Aberdeen Harbour she may need to travel further south to Rosyth.
