It makes you wonder
The June edition of the council’s Moving to Shetland newsletter made very interesting reading. It featured the Uyeasound Primary School and its recent outstanding HMIe report that ranks it as one of the top schools in the country.
Great that they are at last promoting the high level of education available in Shetland, but it’s a shame that the council is proposing the school as a “non-viable option” in the Blueprint for Education. Hmm, makes you wonder …
