Four people treated in hospital after car overturns near Boddam

Four people were taken to hospital on Sunday after the car they were travelling in turned onto its roof following a collision with another vehicle.

The injured had all been in a Toyota Avensis when it crashed into another car on the A970 near Boddam shortly before 4.30pm.

Rescue services attended the scene, and the Toyota’s occupants were taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital suffering from minor injuries.

Police enquiries into the accident are ongoing.
