Police are appealing for help after a 25-year-old Lerwick man was reported missing on the UK mainland.

Darren Priest is believed to have travelled to Aberdeen by ferry last week. He was last seen getting off the NorthLink ferry at Aberdeen harbour on Tuesday morning.

Mr Priest is described as being  approximately 5’ 7” tall, medium build, with blue eyes and short receding brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black/grey trousers or tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Anyone who may have seen him are being asked to contact the Lerwick station, while Mr Priest himself is also being asked to get in touch with police.
