A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court charged with assault to injury and permanent disfigurement.
Damian Ronald Walter Hunt, 27, of Lerwick, made no plea or declaration and was continued for further examination when he appeared in the dock on Tuesday.
He will appear in court again on 7th March.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
