Jump on his bandwagon (J Michael Hannah)

After voting for the Liberal Party and then the Lib Dems for over 30 years I see little point in doing so again after they have become Tory lap dogs. Why vote Lib Dem when there is already a Conservative candidate standing!

With this in mind, I welcome Billy Fox’s decision to stand for the Scottish Parliament. I appreciate that he is a candidate with more than one string to his bow. However I am glad of the opportunity to jump on his bandwagon. I urge the people of Shetland who are against the Viking Energy development to vote for him. Let’s use this opportunity to show how unpopular this development really is locally.

Yes, it is that simple!

No Gaels in Shetland, so why not try Labour – the crew of halfwits that near bankrupted a nation and smashed its moral compass into smithereens?

Mr Hannah its not that simple as Billy Fox said he was not going to use this election as some kind of unofficial referendum on the proposed wind farm. By saying this he was going to get my vote as a 100% supporter of the wind farm, because I believe we should be represented by a true Shetlander such as Mr Fox.
I am sure that there are others like me who have read your comment and are having second thoughts about where to put their cross on polling day. Billy Fox is going to need more votes than just the opposer’s of the wind farm to gain a majority and Shetland needs a representative of his calibre. So when you jump on a band wagon make sure you don’t overload it so it capsizes on the first bend.
