Three young men in court following incident at Posers

Three young men appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court this week following an alleged weekend fracas at Posers.

Daniel Nicolson, 21, of North Lochside in Lewick, is accused of assaulting 18-year-old Gavin Colvin of Beach View in Levenwick on Sunday, by striking his body and knocking him to the ground.

The two are also charged with fighting at the Hillhead, as is Stuart Smith, 19, of Sandveien, Lerwick.

The case before Sheriff Philip Mann on Monday was continued without plea until 5th October. They were released on bail.
