Police said tonight that missing teenager Ian Mutch has now been traced safe and well.
Officers had carried out searches in and around Lerwick today for the vulnerable 19-year-old after he was last seen at the Thule bar at 10,30pm last night.
A spokesman for Lerwick police said the force would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in tracing Mr Mutch.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
