A Dunrossness resident was remanded in custody today after allegedly committing a serious assault.
Scott Anderson, 22, made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private from custody before honorary sheriff Arnold Duncan.
He was committed for further examination and held on remand. He is expected to re-appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court in court in a week’s time.
