Rugby team up to second after emphatic victory

The Shetland rugby team hammered visitors Aberdeen Wanderers 2XV on Saturday to move into second place in the RBS Caledonia Division Three (North) table.

The 61-12 victory, and with it the addition of a bonus point, was achieved in splendid conditions and in front of an excellent crowd at Clickimin.

Shetland are now on 29 points from eight games played, five behind leaders Deeside, and have leapfrogged both Gordonians 2XV and Mackie 2XV.
