Oil worker airlifted

An injured oil worker has been airlifted from the Dunbar platform 100 miles North East of Sumburgh.

The Sumburgh-based coastguard was scrambled shortly after 10am this morning and sent to evacuate the man.

He was taken to the landing site at the Clickimin before being transferred to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for treatment.
