The Norwegian yacht Fri Inspiration with five people on board is being towed into Baltasound by the Lerwick lifeboat.
They are expected to arrive at the port at 3.30pm. The Fri Inspiration, started taking in water early today.
The Shetland Coastguard helicopter was earlier dispatched to lower a pump onto the yacht, which was about 50 miles to the north-east of Unst.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
