Full emergency at Sumburgh

UPDATED 18.30.

An Eastern Airways plane landed safely at Sumburgh airport this evening after reporting a suspected fire in an auxiliary power unit onboard.

A full emergency was declared at the airport around 10 past five, and the emergency services were asked to attend.

The plane landed safely shortly after half past five, and the passengers were taken off the aircraft away from the terminal building. There were no reported injuries.
