Sailings cancelled due to weather

NorthLink’s sailings to and from Aberdeen on Sunday have been cancelled because of harsh weather conditions.

The Hjaltland is expected to stay in Aberdeen until 7pm on Monday, but is not expected to arrive in Lerwick until 9.30am the following day. Passengers are being kept updated.

The Hrossey’s southbound voyage should also commence at 7pm on Monday, although that is under review.

Meanwhile, the Hjaltland will be out of service for the first couple of weeks in February while maintenance is carried out. She will return with the new branding colours that have already been seen on the Pentland Firth vessel Hamnavoe.
