Shetland rugby team came from behind to beat fourth-placed Aberdeenshire XV 12-10 yesterday in the RBS Caledonia League Division 2 North match at the Clickimin pitch.

In very muddy conditions Aberdeenshire went ahead with two unconverted tries, leading 10-0 at half time.

Shetland began to dominate the match in the second half and Harry Morton scored a deserved try in the corner after some excellent teamwork.

In the dying seconds of the match Luke Cromwell ran over the line to score a second try between the posts for Shetland. Jon Pulley coolly converted the try to put Shetland in the lead.

With their victory Shetland move up two places to seventh in the RBS Caledonia League Division 2 North.

Coupled with last weeks back to back fixtures away from home with only 15 guys both games a good return of points over the last 3 outings. Well done to all at Shetland rugby.
