A Sikorsky helicopter which was bound for Scatsta Airport was forced to turn back to a North Sea platform after its crew reported vibration in the airframe.

The Bristow-operated S-92 had been heading from the Brent Delta platform to the isles at 12.15pm on Thursday when the incident happened.

The aircraft had been carrying passengers from both the Brent Delta and Brent Charlie platforms at the time.

Engineers have been sent to investigate the problem.
