Tory leader Davidson to visit

Scottish Conservative Pary leader Ruth Davidson is to make flying visit to Shetland on Wednesday.

She will be following in the footsteps of UK leader David Cameron who became the first Prime Minister to visit the isles for more than 30 years.

Ms Davidson will visit the Cunningsburgh Show where there will be the Better Together gazebo and where she will have a chance to meet and chat to local visitors to the show.

Shetland Conservative Association chairman Maurice Mullay welcomed the news of her visit to the isles and expressed his excitement at welcoming her.

He said: “I am delighted Ruth is making the trip to Shetland to support the local Conservatives and particularly the local Better Together Shetland campaign.

“I’m sure her flying visit will prove a great success and I know a great many local people are looking forward to meeting her. All are welcome, and she will be pleased to meet you at the Better Together stand between 1pm and 3pm at the Cunningsburgh Show on Wednesday.

“Ruth is a strong supporter of the United Kingdom, as are a majority of Shetlanders, so the visit to the Better Together stand will hopefully prove a highlight of your visit to the Cunningsburgh Show.”

I find it a rather disturbing irony that the vile Tories are supporting the ‘ Better together Campaign ‘ when their philosophy and principles is purely based on selfishness, individuality and supporting the elite minority at the cost to the majority.

As per usual, the vile Tories acting in contradictory terms (they promise the people of the country this and that but only serve to better the elite minority……as said) lol
