Guitar festival event cancelled due to flight changes

, by , in Headlines, News

One of the first events for the Shetland International Guitar Festival has been cancelled.

Tommy Emmanuel and Martin Taylor in Conversation was due to take place on Wednesday night in Mareel.

But due to British Airways changing a flight time, the event has been cancelled.

Emmanuel’s headline concert on Thursday and Taylor’s concert on Friday will still go ahead as planned.

Shetland Arts apologised for the cancellation and those who have bought tickets are entitled to a refund. Staff have been in touch with folk who have purchased tickets for the event.
