NorthLink ferries to leave earlier today

Ferry company Serco NorthLink has announced more changes to its sailings today on the Shetland to Aberdeen route.

The Hrossey is now expected to leave Aberdeen at 2pm, five hours earlier than scheduled. No estimated time was given for arrival in Lerwick.

The southbound sailing of the Hjaltland will be half an hour earlier than scheduled, according to NorthLink, leaving Lerwick at 5pm, arriving in Kirkwall at 10.30pm and leaving again at 11pm. Arrival in Aberdeen may be slightly delayed.

On Saturday both the services are under review, the northbound sailing of the Hjaltland and the southbound sailing of the Hrossey. An update would follow tomorrow morning, NorthLink added.
