A man has been remanded at Lerwick Sheriff Court after appearing from custody on drugs charges.
Ebrahim Hassan, 52, of Brae, today appeared in private before honorary sheriff Willie Shannon on a petition alleging a contravention of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination before being remanded in custody.
He is expected to appear in court again next week.
