“Queen of Lerwick” inducted into hall of fame

Revered isles pianist Violet Tulloch has been inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame.

Tulloch is one of ten artists to be chosen for their contributions to Scottish music and the “Queen of Lerwick” will be celebrated at the Scottish Music Hall of Fame dinner at Inverness Airport.

She said she was thrilled to be named an inductee.
