Police investigate weekend fraud

The police are looking for information regarding a fraud which took place at the Cope Limited premises at South Gremista Industrial Estate, Lerwick, at 11.30am on Saturday.

According to the police two suspects had been identified. The first was male, white, in his late 40s, of medium build and six foot tall, with dark short hair and wearing a light-coloured jumper. He spoke good English with a foreign accent.

The other suspect was female, white, in her early 50s, of small build and five foot four inches tall, with a dark bob haircut and wearing dark clothes and a dark jacket. She spoke with bad English in a foreign accent.

The police are also seeking information regarding an incident where a car was damaged at South Lochside, Lerwick.

The damage was done between approximately 6.30pm on Friday and 11.25am on Monday.
