Accused of shouting and swearing

A man has appeared from custody before Honorary Sheriff Arnold Duncan charged with acting in a threatening manner in Sandwick.

Benedict Gray, 37, is accused of shouting and swearing at an address in Parkland, Sandwick, and at Braefield Cottage in the area.

He is charged with striking doors and windows at the cottage with excessive force and threatening to damage property.

The incident is said to have happened on Saturday.

Gray’s case was continued without plea until 20th July.

He was released on bail with special conditions.
