Woman accused of biting partner’s head

A woman has appeared in the dock accused of assaulting her partner by biting his head.

Jodie Leask, 23, of Hoofields in Lerwick is alleged to have carried out the offence at her home on Monday.

She is also charged with behaving in a threatening manner, shouting and swearing, uttering offensive remarks.

Leask is said to have thrown items and behaved in an aggressive manner.

Her case before Honorary Sheriff Willie Shannon was continued without plea until 20th July. She was released on bail with special conditions.
