Two thefts reported in Mossbank

Police are appealing for witnesses following two thefts in the Mossbank area.

In the most recent incident a vehicle had its window smashed and a quantity of money was stolen from within. This occurred in the Maidenfield area of Mossbank on Saturday between 5am and 6am.

This follows a reported theft in the Sandside area of Mossbank earlier in the week, where medication was stolen from within a locked house.

Police are urging anyone with information relating to these incidents to contact the Lerwick Police Station on 101 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
