Passengers aboard a cruise ship from Norway were unable to visit Lerwick yesterday as the poor weather stopped them from arriving in the harbour.

The 290-metre Caribbean Princess, sailing from Flam, was unable to land passengers in the town and instead anchored off the Knab before sheltering off Bressay.

She set sail again for Akureyri in Iceland at about 2pm.
