LadySpurs had a fairly comfortable win over Bench Warmers in the only women’s volleyball league match played at the weekend.

DITT Globetrotters had another convincing win in last week’s men’s volleyball league, this time against second-placed JBT, while in the other match Sandwick were eventually too good for Harry’s Hotspurs.

The latest results in the current women’s volleyball competition saw good wins for leaders Sandwick and second-placed JBT.

The only volleyball match played in the BP Sullom Voe Men’s League saw JBT triumph after a closely-fought battle with Harry’s Hotspurs.

JBT and Sandwick had comfortable victories in the latest round of volleyball matches, both winning 3-0 in the BP Sullom Voe Ladies’ League.

It was a good week for the JBT volleyball teams, with the mixed squad continuing their winning streak against Sandwick to open up a gap in the league, and the men gaining a hard-fought victory over the same opposition in the men’s league.

Last weekend’s volleyball matches in the BP Sullom Voe Ladies’ League saw close-foughts wins for Benchwarmers and Sandwick against Ladyspurs and Hoodies respectively.

The latest round of matches in the volleyball mixed league saw victories for JBT and Sandwick.

Harry’s Hotspurs were no match for JBT as the latter romped to a straight sets win in volleyball’s mixed league action.

Sandwick saw off Harry’s Hotspurs in volleyball’s mixed league after a slow start and the Drifters beat Sandwick in the men’s league.
