The Travels of Magnus Pole
Magnus Pole lived a long time ago on an island in Shetland. He kept a small farm but he much preferred fishing because it took him away from a job he hated – grinding oats and barley with a knocking stone. One day it took him so far away that Magnus Pole thought he would never see his family or the knocking stone again. He was right in one of his guesses. Follow him on his travels and find out which!
