Shetland coastguard was called to airlift at an injured crewman from a North Sea platform.The helicopter was called at about 2pm to the Ocean Guardian, about 60 miles north-east of Shetland.The helicopter arrived at Tingwall at 4.10pm where it was met by an ambulance. Read more...

A camper who was close to going into a diabetic coma was airlifted from Oxna this morning by Shetland Coastguard.  Shetland Coastguard said the 48-year-old woman was taken to the Clickimin landing site and then to  the Gilbert Bain Hospital.   The call was received at 8.45am.  Read more...
