Apology for statement

, by , in Sport

TWO weeks ago The Shetland Times carried a statement from under-18 Shetland coach Derrick Bradley in which he complained about a “monopoly of Rangers that the other clubs are really unhappy with” in junior football.

At an emergency general meeting of Shetland Junior Football Association last Wednesday night, at which Mr Bradley was ousted from his role, he apologised for his remark, a fact not reflected in our report last week about the meeting. We are happy to set the record straight.
