Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted outside the Lloyds TSB building in Lerwick at the weekend.
The 47-year-old was hit over the head with an unknown object at around 10.30 on Saturday night. He was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for observation. Police are asking witnesses to come forward.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
