Sullom Voe busier

This week proved to be a slightly busier spell for Sullom Voe, with four tankers leaving the terminal carrying almost 330,000 tonnes of oil between them.

The Neptune Voyager sailed for Hamburg last Friday with 77,598 tonnes of regular crude oil on board.

She was quickly followed by British Cygnet, which headed for Rotterdam with 90,181 tonnes of crude.

On Sunday the Sea Lady sailed to Milford carrying 82,977 tonnes, while Monday saw the departure of SKS Mersey, which sailed to Tranmere with 79,074 tonnes of oil on board.

The Loch Rannoch brought 25,082 tonnes of Schiehallion imports to the terminal on Sunday.

There was one ship to ship transfer when the Perseverance transferred 58,870 tonnes to the Delaware-bound King Duncan.
