A woman charged with assaulting another woman by stabbing her at a house in Sandveien, Lerwick, appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Brenda Pottinger, 39, of Sandveien, was charged with grabbing the woman by the hair and stabbing her in the body on Monday. She made no plea or declaration, was committed for further examination and was released on bail.
