Flood forces closure of council finance office

0 comments, , by , in News

A flood due to a loose water pipe has forced the ground floor offices of the revenue services section of the SIC’s finance department at Charlotte House to close today.

The services affected are: cashiers, income and recovery, local taxation, benefits and rents.

Members of the public who require the services of cashiers and housing benefits should visit the emergency planning offices at 20 Commercial Road across from the Viking Bus Station, next to Star Rent-A-Car.

To contact cashiers staff please phone (01595) 744626.

To contact housing benefits staff please phone (01595) 744682.

Members of the public who have queries regarding local taxation or rents should note that these services have relocated to finance at Montfield, 28 Burgh Road.

To contact local taxation staff please phone (01595) 744654.

To contact rents staff please phone: (01595) 744648.
