Knickers in a twist

The Lerwick town centre retailers seem to have got their knickers in a twist about what the Tesco store is planning to stock. When are they going to realise that if they provided the goods needed/wanted by the Shetland public then they wouldn’t need to worry?

One example – a few years ago I trawled through Lerwick trying to track down socks (any type of socks, I wasn’t fussy) to fit a 12-year-old boy but there wasn’t a pair to be found. Then I had a brainwave and headed out to Chris Hodge who had them by the score – but we all know what happened to him.
