A 49-year-old man was killed in a tragic accident yesterday, believed to be an incident involving livestock.
The man was found in a field in Trebister, Gulberwick, yesterday moring. An ambulance crew and police attended the scene. Following enquiries, police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
