Towll talk at Shetland Museum cancelled due to illness

The illustrated talk by Howard Towll on Sunday 29th August, to accompany his exhibition currently showing at Da Gadderie in the Shetland Museum, has unfortunately been cancelled due to illness.

Museum spokesman Paul Chivers said the exhibition would remain on show, however, until Monday 30th August as planned.

Towll is a self-taught artist who started to use drawing and painting to interpret observations of nature in the early 1990s while workingas an ecologist at Sumburgh Head. The exhibition focuses on his interest  in mountain hares where he sees distinct characters in individual animals, along with images of puffins, gannets, crows, dunters, otters and more.
