Didn’t they do well (Lynne Arcus)

Congratulations to all the competitors who took part in the junior inter-county and island games, and also the coaches and trainers. Well done everyone.

We have excellent sporting facilities here in Shetland and they are well used as the success of the swimmers and other athletes proves.

Meanwhile, why is the council thinking of putting the skateboard park at the Knab where we have the most inclement weather? Was it not at one time planned to go ahead at the bottom of the Staney Hill near the running track? Is this not the obvious place, where it is near all the facilities (toilets, changing areas and cafe) at Clickimin?
