A man and a woman appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court today charged with assault.
Lerwick residents Wayne Uren, 31, and Amy Groat, 24, made no plea when they appeared before honorary sheriff Eric Peterson.
They were both committed for further examination before being released on bail.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
