Road at Veensgarth in Tingwall closed after accident

The road at Veensgarth in Tingwall has been closed following a vehicle accident just before lunchtime today.

Police said the incident on the A970 occurred at 12.05pm. There were no serious injuries but with the position of the vehicles involved they had decided to close the road to other traffic. The closure was expected to last around 40 minutes while the cars were being cleared.
