NorthLink warns poor weather is likely to disrupt ferry services

NorthLink is warning of disruption to sailings tomorrow due to adverse weather conditions.

Wednesday night’s planned sailing from Lerwick to Kirkwall and Aberdeen is under review but at the very least will depart at the earlier time of 2pm. An update will follow tomorrow morning at 10.30am.

Today the Hjaltland arrived late in Aberdeen at 9.35am, but is scheduled to depart Aberdeen for Lerwick at 7pm as normal. The southbound sailing of Hrossey is also scheduled to depart Lerwick sailing for Aberdeen at the usual time of 7pm.

The Hildasay arrived in Lerwick at 10.25am and is scheduled to sail for Aberdeen at 6pm. The Helliar, currently in Aberdeen, will sail for Kirkwall at 5pm.
